Vogue Dolls, Inc. (1922-1972) was created by Jennie H. Graves and grew from modest beginnings to be the largest doll only manufacturer in the world.
They are best known for their Ginny dolls, 8" tall named after Mrs. Graves daughter, Virginia Graves and companion doll line.
Ginny dolls had beautiful wardrobes and accessories. The second most popular were the Baby Dear dolls and all their variations. In 1957 Vogue bought the Arranbee doll company and used their R & B doll markings for a few years. Vogue dolls can be made of; bisque, rubber, composition, celluloid, hard plastic, vinyl and stuffed animals.
